By Order PRE/525/2005 of 7 March, which publishes the Resolution of the Council of Ministers that adopts measures to favour equality between women and men, a series of actions are established, which contribute to decreasing inequality in all areas of daily life: employment, business, reconciliation of work and family life, research, solidarity, sports, gender-based violence, etc.

For effective equality between women and men, and in order to complete the legal framework, Organic Law 3/2007, of 22 March advocates real and effective gender equality in our society.

The Ministry of the Treasury, which is committed to this government action, has undertaken a series of actions directed at promoting equality in its conceptual scope.
