Every year, two prizes are awarded for completed PhD theses, divided into the following sections:
- A prize for PhD theses on Financial and Tax Law.
- A prize for PhD theses on Public Economy.
Each prize is for 4,500 euros and the winning theses are published by the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
